I'm Sailing!

Finally at 81/2 months old we got Andrew on the water. We sailed with Andrew's godfather J from Baltimore to Annapolis. The sail lasted about 5 hours and finished with a late lunch at Cantler's. Andrew did great and the motion of the boat seemed to lend itself to some good napping.

Off to Milwaukee

Andrew had his first plane ride over the 4thof July weekend to meet the rest of the Shingledeckers at cousin Jessica's wedding. Above are four generations of Shingledecker men. Pretty amazing. Andrew proved that plane rides can be tough when you are little, but overall all weekend he was a trooper and very happy to meet lots of family. He was especially excited to meet his Aunt Hannah and Uncle Zach!

Here is Andrew with the bride. Her mother, Aunt Jan has a photo of her holding Luke while he was a baby at her wedding.

Getting bigger

Check me out. I am getting big! Here I am helping Daddy learn about my new "big boy carseat" and I can eat a cracker!

Playground! and Parties

We took Andrew to the playground for the first time! He is still a little small for the swings but he seemed to enjoy it!

Mid June brought the Annual Luke and J birthday party. Check out the little hawaiian shirt!

Hanging with the Kitties

Andrew has started to show much more excitment when the cats are around recently. He likes to watch them come and go, squeals with delight and trys to pet them. Sometimes he is gentle, sometimes, not so much. Luckily Max and Mileah are very tolerant and good to him.

Baptism and Grandparents Visit

May was a great month with Andrew's first road trip to Yorktown, VA followed a week later by having both sets of grandparents in town for Andrew's baptism. He had great time giggling with the grandpas and special time with the grandmas.
